If you don't have a fluke remote screen you need one.

I've had my 233/A for about 6 months and it's convenience can't be over stated. But this is the first time I've more or less stretched the limits of the remote screen.

We have a generator that is in a brick building that has started shutting down on ambient over temperature. I don't want to stand in the room with it and sweat to death to see what the temp gets to before the controller kills it. Enter the 233!

My meter is currently 3ft away from the machine in the room taking readings. I'm sitting in the truck watching the screen in the a/c. Best thing since individually sliced cheeses!

Thanks for making them go up on the used market :flipoff:

I've been wanting one for a while :/ but the new and used prices are a tough pillow to bite.

i own this, i replace the batteries once a year. it works great does come in handy when i need the screen too be detached. but i use it as a regular meter more often the as a wireless. it uses 5 AA batteries, my other meters use a 9v and last about 3 or 4 years of everyday use.

Or you could just get really long meter leads like I did, I'm a vehicle mechanic so as long as you have leads long enough to go around a typical car/van it works great.

The Fluke remote display amp clamp looks good :)

Is there any way to add this to a Fluke 287?

I have a 287 and would love to add it on. That is awesome.
Afaik there isn't a way to add the remote screen feature on any Meter that didn't have it from factory.

It's worth it to buy another meter honestly.
