SharperTEK is much cheaper. a lot of the chemicals are rather hard to obtain and clean up. pretty much requires a call to safety clean unless you have a degree in chemestry to know what to buy and how to dilute it. oh and they are expensive.

In the demo video they say they're using nothing more than soapy water.

That thing looks awesome; I can only imagine, it must cost a fortune... if you were making money with it... that could be profitable! I would assume it would only be cost effective for a production environment that relied on restoration/rebuilding of things! I wonder if we will see of Jay Leno involved with the auto/product business when he retires from the TS? I have liked his Leno's Garage shows, so far.... here is hoping we see more of him!

We have the 2 gallon unit here at work,and it works great on carbs.They recommend using the soap they sell,as thats good at the 140 degree temp.We use it just for small engine carbs,and I tried it on a piston that had oil baked on the skirt the other day.Its just amazing how well it works.I think ours cost around $1100.00,and the soap is around $95.00 for 5 gallons.It uses a qt. of soap mixed in the water.I like it because it's non-toxic.
I sure wish we could afford one of the big ones,for other stuff.

Ultrasonic cleaners are great. I have a tiny one quart unit. It works great for small parts. I wish that I had a larger machine. Unfortunately, they aren't cheap.

We have one just like that at work. We use it on parts that come right out of the CNC machines and it works pretty well. You have to be carefull with the temps as it tends to leave burn marks on aluminum.
We use the soap sold by Kyzen with it ...

i ordered a 40 gallon one on my last internship. heated up to 180 degrees. some solutions are more nasty than others, also depends on what you clean with them.

safe-t-kleen has a nasty paint and ink remover that will pull powder coat off and strip fenders.
