Has anyone seen these condensate line "smart maintainers" installed? I always maintain my HVAC with routine maintenance and use pan tablets (Never Bleach) with great results for years.
I have seen these iFlow units advertised on TV, Ammazoom and Home Cheapo…….. Price is $99 for a three month use.

BTW! I won’t install one on my units but I was just wondering about this……. This looks like a gimmick for homeowners.

$99 for three months what a deal!!! But i also draw arrows on pipe and wire so the electrons or molecules know which way to go. Don't think anyone would buy that on this forum. But someone that had water running out the bottom of their furnace and paid $200 to clean out a hose would.

I hope nobody on the GJ would buy this kit after all the helpful info about condensate line maintenance.

BTW! I was at HD this afternoon and the guy who works in plumbing said that this iFLO kit is a good seller however he agrees that it is expensive and he would not install one on his condensate line.

Reminds me of an automatic lube systems for big machines (combines, forage harvesters). If it works and removes having someone to remember to perform maintenance, it might be worth it.

I'm sure whatever is in the bottle can be replaced with a much cheaper chemical.
