IH-MAC vs MAC

Is this the same company. I have MAC wrenches US made and then IH-MAC industrial wrenches made in Japan. Are these different companies or can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

I have never before heard of "IH-MAC."

ill have to pull them out, but perhaps its international harvester-mac? they say IH-MAC INDUSTRIAL and are made overseas. Good wrenches just not sure if affliated with MAC or not etc.

I'm guessing it's not affiliated with International Harvester. IH sold tools with their brand they were rebranded Wright tools, made in USA.

The current IH tools are made by SnapOn/Williams.

Really snap on makes these? So just a lower end snap on product etc?

I doubt those are, but a bunch of the current IH tools are. I have a IH ratcheting screwdriver and it was like $25 vs $65 for the Snap On version.
