Picked this IH (made by Kennedy) toolbox up recently. Spent a little time cleaning it up and gave it a home in the back of my '75 Scout II. Hoping to get it stocked with a few tools soon.

Very nice, Scott. That's a great toolbox for a truck.

I found a cantilever box at the pawn on Saturday that I was thinking seriously about, but passed b/c it needed too much straightening out.

Thanks, Lookin4. I lucked out with this one. No dents to speak of. Biggest issue was the "Ted McDonald" painted in big, black letters on it. Some careful scrubbing with acetone took the lettering off.

Scott, nice IH-box. I sure like the few IH tools I find. I do have a set of CIH sockets but think they are MM. I need to get my 76' SII picked up and taken to TX before I move there, can't go w/o Scout's.

To Nmclu,
No, I don't have a clue. But if I were you I would start a separate, brand new thread. There are lots of pretty sharp guys on this forum, and someone will probably know. But at the tail end of this thread, it might get missed by many folks.

Just my suggestion, in an attempt to help you get it ID'd. Cheers.

Wow what a great looking box! I keep looking for your IH tools but no luck; I have found long ago names of just about everything under the sun but no IH tools.

I was standing in a musty garage this week and the guy told me he thought the one box in the corner might have some tools from the 1970's but it turned out they all came from china. I will keep looking out for you in order too fill that nice box for you.
