Found this cool old IHC adjustable wrench hammer in a “junk bin” of wrenches I paid $2 for. It is pretty well used, marked 2E, caked with grease and rusty. I lightly cleaned and degreased it. It seems like it was chrome at some point. I haven't really found any info about it but I do see other versions on the bay.

What were these used for? tractors and implements or just wrenches with hammers by IHC?

^ You have definitely found an interesting specimen. I have not seen that one before.

Almost all of those old adjustable wrenches were used as hammers - some more than others.

IHC manufactured (and outsourced) a variety of tools to service their equipment.

International / International Harvester Co., Chicago, IL / http://vintagemachinery.org/mfgIndex/detail.aspx?id=2796 /

I do not know where the "IHC wrench" information center is.... :headscrat
