Hello,
After years of planning I'm finally building my 28x26 garage in southeast Wisconsin. I was all going to pay $30k to have it built, but then this spring quotes jumped to $40k so now I'm doing it myself. I've been doing a lot of minor construction projects in recent years including a 14' gazebo, but this will be the biggest thing I've ever tackled. I had the slab and two rows of block put in a few months ago and I'm about to place my first materials order.
My first question has to do with the concrete/sill plate/sheathing interface, is "General Garage Discussion" the correct forum to post that in?
