and after a LONG LONG TIME,i think this is as close as i will ever get.

long story short,i have this box in red and black made by waterloo,i've had it roughly 20 years.I lost the top off of it about two years ago on the way to daytona because the side lock downs had been long gone.Started searching for a replacement 2 years ago, only thing to be found at the time was the "new" yellow version. The catch was you had to buy them in a 4 pack, best price,280.00.

A year ago the box got smashed between to items and cracked the side,i still used it and kept searching, did a BING image search tonight trying to get lucky and and found this klein. This is the box i've been looking for, they copied it.If it is made from the same material, your looking at it lasting 20 plus years in a rough construction enviroment,I can honestly say this is a great friggin box.

2 year hunt over, added to christmas list, wife say's good to go. WOO HOO!!!!!!!

sears one looks like it only has the one tray, won't work for me.This is what i call my everything box,all my tools have cases, but i use this box to hold all my hand tools and misc stuff that is universal on any job.

I love the set up i have and after having it for 20 plus years,i'm very set in my ways as to where things are when i go to reach for them. This is why i want a copy of my original, sure there are a million others,i just like mine.

I have the original gray SST from Sears, got it at a garage sale. It has 3 different trays.
I also have a smaller one labeled Blue-Point that is orange. Both are very useful!

Well so much for the good news, today the box showed up and guess what? for the 55 bucks i paid,it's only the bottom half, the orange part.I called amazon like wtf?,they said yeah sorry about that, the picture showing the whole thing is not accurate. But you can buy the large tray seperate for another 41 dollars, the small top tray for 30 and the lid for 22.i asked the ******* the phone if i could just buy a picture of the box because i only had 15?,being from bangledesh, she didn't get it.

So now i got a refund,a free return slip on the way and no box.FAWWWWWWWKKKKK!!!

Good news! I got mine today.

This forum came up when I was searching for another (my fourth) Waterloo SST HP55421 because the place I got my last one didn't have them any more. I was so disappointed to see that they are no longer produced. It is the only toolbox I've found with two trays and a large compartment. It works perfect for me.

I joined the forum to let Chris know that B&R still has them available. I didn't want to post until I was sure they sent the right thing since he got burned on the Amazon deal. Here it is fresh out of the box:

And it came from Brian at:

I also called Waterloo because I (or a family member) lost a lid somewhere. They were able to send me the two pieces right away (not here yet so they may have made a mistake - we'll see). But I did stress that this is a one of a kind tool box and I would like to see them make another run.
