I'm VERY confused about which adhesive to use.

I have my VCT ordered from HD and my VT8 edging from a local retailer (for whatever reason armstrong does not sell the edging to HD or Lowes) and it should be in next week.
I'm going nuts deciding on the S-750 adhesive, that I see everyone here using, or the S-230 2-part epoxy adhesive. I'd like to use the S-230 to get 100% moisture resistance since the garage floor will have standing water and snow slush from cars on it. Armstrong says the S-230 will work with the Excelon tiles but they say the installation is trickier since the tiles must be installed while it is wet compared to the S-750 which must get tacky before installation. They also say there's a better chance of the adhesive seeping up between the tiles when you roll it. I don't mind using a roller but rolling is not necessary with the S-750.
Has anyone here used the S-230 in a garage or anywhere? Any input is much appreciated!

rolling is not necessary with the S-750

I used S-750 and my supplier emphasized that I must roll the newly laid VCT its full length and width at least once.

For your benefit I phoned him yesterday regarding S-230. He doesn't stock it, has never sold any in 15+ years and claims that it "may" be of some value if applied to an area with a high water table but still would recommend S-750 for most applications.

Now that should help .......... :headscrat

I was a flooring installer for a long time and never used the epoxy for VCT. I would think it would be next to impossible to not have some squeeze through the joints.

You must roll the floor at least once. It helps if the temp is fairly warm (75 F) while rolling. Cold is the enemy of a newly laid VCT floor.

Good luck.
