Image resolution issue on tapatalk iOS

Recently when viewing posts with images hosted by GJ they show up in low resolution. Images hosted off site (Dropbox) look fine. The web view works perfectly so it's something to do with the way tapatalk is displaying GJ images. This has only started recently.

It appears to be a problem with the way the app handles the .jpg images on the iPad. It works fine on my iPhone though.

On my iPhone they show low res also. It's not as easy to see but locally hosted images are definitely low res.
