Does anyone know who makes a knock off or similar wall cabinet to the one Snap-On sells for their pullers? Hopefully something cheaper or that can be readily found used.

Something like this:

Hum, the plexiglass front and metal case are going to be a tall order. If you got lucky you could find old medical or lab cabinets, but those aren't going to be a every day find type of thing. There are loads of glass front cabinets at most home improvement stores, but with a wood case.

Maybe find some cheap shallow cabinets and cut the front panel to install a sheet of plexiglass?

I have been thinking the same thing. There's one near me on Craigslist in the Boston area for $500. It's the puller case with half of the puller set in it. The guy doesn't have a phone number listed and I emailed him a bunch of times with no response. I have been searching for a similar case and can't find one. I want mine for hammers, but you can use them for anything. If anyone finds one please let us know. Color doesn't matter since it can be painted. I like it for the see thru doors.

I have seen the would wall version, which has been made for ever show up a couple times dirt cheap. One time a guy had 30 of them for $25 a pop.

I have been searching everywhere for one. I finally got a real one, but would like another. Mine came from Craigslist for $150. I am really impressed with it. It is 6" deep, 34" wide, and 24 3/4 high. All I did was paint the white peg board black and put my hammers in it. I was going to refinish it, but decided it matched better the way it was. I can find solid metal door cabinets on ebay for approx $220, but can't find anything with the glass doors. If anyone knows where they are please let me know.

If you had somebody in California to pick them up or if you trust the guy........

*not my ad, just ran across it*

Figures the furthest possible place. I would love 2 more.

I like the metal vs wood to match everything else. I am not caught up on the name...just the design/style

I looked at the HF ones at first. They are very shallow and have solid doors. For some reason I like the glass. I found a couple near me, but they are asking $500 and up due to the name

I have one like the Harbor Freight cabinet. It's pretty lightweight and the frame will flex when you have it loaded. The doors don't open and close very well when it does this.

Would you need a sign that reads "In case of fire break glass" ?

I have a couple of cabinets to sell, they are not snap on, but they may work for ya. These are display cases like you would see in a school or a business. Both cases are keyed the same. Richie

I just keep thinking of the fire extinguishers behind the glass case with the hammer chained to it, but you have your hammers inside the cabinet. "In case of emergency, break glass". I'd be awesome if you'd put a fire extinguisher right next to the case of hammers!

I like those. How much are you looking to get out of them? I imagine shipping would be prohibitive but might as well ask.

Hate to say it but pass. Think shipping is going to make it really expensive. Is there by chance a model number or manufacturer on those?

no, I have looked, I have seen these in schools holding info sheets and awards, that kind of stuff. I got them to put my collection of tools in, but didn't have space on the wall of my garage after winning them in a auction. I was told they were almost 400.00 each to buy new. But like I said I am open to trades. I really wanted them bad when I saw them at the auction, and was all pumped up, until I got home and they were 1/4 inch too wide for my space... So much for eye balling a size...lol..rich
