What do you all recommend for a fairly complete impact bit set? Maybe a few but drivers, drill bits and driver bits?

I use the **** out of the 3 craftsman sets I bought for about 45 on black friday.Between the 3 sets it just about cover it all.But the black set and the larger red set has everything .I could get by with just the two.Having all 3 have been convenient.

Both from Home Depot...

Work fine, last a long time...

Is the shockwave function useful on the Milwaukee stuff, or is it mostly just a funny looking gimmick?

I'm most happy with mine...

It was very reasonably priced, too, at, $19.97...

Milwaukee #48-32-4008...

It's twenty bucks...it's not like you're investing a hundred dollar bill in the set...

Good strong case, too...:3gears:

Ive been using an impactor almost daily for the last 6 or 7 years.

Yes, you can break bits, no-name or mostly off brand bits.

I cant seem to see the difference between the milwaukee shockwave, the dewalt, or the bosch. I buy them in bulk on fleabay. All three wear out, or get lost before they break. I use all three, almost equally. No rhyme or reason.

Im mostly chasing T25 headed construction screws, mostly in old wood ( spelled hard ).
