Impact driver ID

One more please...
My wife came home from the sales with this impact driver. It has my curiosity just because I can't find anything on the maker. The Patent number does not cross to anything I can find for patents or design patents 514629. There is a logo I've tried to depict in the photo.
Any ideas on the maker?

I have one identical to that in a blue case.

A couple of results on Google indicate it's made in Japan. The Japanese Patent Office website's search function is wonky, didn't return any results for that number.

The actual logo on the case looks to me like a "K" inside of a diamond with a horizontal line through it.
