Hello,

I'm looking for socket organizers/pegs simliar to the hansen socket trays.
However, impact sockets will not fit on them due to being thicker. Are there trays made for storing impact sockets? Thanks

I just took a scrap of 3/4" plywood I had laying around, cut it to size, drilled a bunch of different-sized holes in it with my spade bit set and made a very functional "tray" for my metric & SAE deep impacts. It ain't fancy but it works well and it was free.

My impact sockets are on Hansen trays, no problem. You aren't trying to put 1/2" sockets on a 3/8" tray are you?

My 1/2" impacts are on a Hanson tray but my 3/8" impacts wont fit on one. It will almost work but it is too tight and one socket doesn't have enough room to fit. My sockets are Grey Pneumatic for what its worth.

Correct. I have Snap on impact sockets. The 1/2" fit, but 3/8" dont. I should have specified which.

I'm guessing they mean the placement is to close together, and the sockets hit each other?
