Impact Socket Storage

I have several impact sockets that I've bought separately over the years. I have them currently stored in a tray in my tool cart. However, I kinda want to organize them in a portable molded socket case for use outside of the shop.

Basically what I am looking for is a plastic or metal carrying case that will keep the sockets in order. Sorta like what you get when you buy sockets in sets.

Any suggestions?

What about one of the sturdy metal strips with the plastic handle and sliding holders to snap the sockets onto?

Take a strip of metal, fold the bottom edge up making an L and put a strip of magnet stuff on the bottom.

Buy one of the Hanson style plastic trays.

**** Maybe we should start a tool holder thread with pictures?

I will be following this thread. I use Hansen trays for my regular sockets but want something for the impacts. Besides a custom-machined job, what ideas do you guys have?

Something that turns up frequently at swapmeets etc. are the empty cases that various products came in, older ones will have that sort of metal case.
