So i've got 2763 impact with a hog ring anvil.
Anyway i have only high quality impact sockets all my 1/2 impacts sockets below 1-1/4 are SK anything bigger than that is wright, So my most used Sockets are my deep well 1-1/2, 1-1/8 and 3/4 they are all around 2 years old and have what i would consider heavy heavy use.
So i've notice worst with the 1-1/8 that it seems to fit crooked on the anvil and really wobble when you run the impact. The 1-1/2 will barely stay on the anvil any more it drops off like a pin anvil with no pin. This anvil holds other sockets just fine and has never impacted chrome sockets

So my question is does this impact wear out your sockets quicker?
Is this a warranty-able problem for my sockets?

I would say u try warranty. You can only hit it so many times, the harder it hits the sooner it will wear out. I noticed the other day some of my 3/4 are getting sloppy on both ends.

I never thought of them as a wear item lol I feel like that 2763 really doesnt help the situation. the other day i adapted it up to 2-1/4 still did the job

Most companies wont warranty "normal" wear, or tools that are worn out. Ive heard of guys pressing ball bearings into the broached end to get the socket to crack in a attempt to get it warrantied. But that's none of my business. I've had to replace Snap On impact sockets that were worn out. The replacements sure as hell weren't Snap On.

As already stated, most companies consider impacts a consumable, so no warranty unless they crack. Only exception I can think of is Craftsman.

Sockets wear. Impact sockets used on an impact wear a lot faster. Using them in a production setting, we had to replace them fairly frequently.
