Grey Pneumatic is another choice,I never broken one of their impact sockets yet.Have a lifetime warranty on them too and reasonably priced.Problem with IR's sets, most of the sets have no 18mm in them which is one of the mostly used commonly used metric sizes.

Alot of dears hardware have USA old stock on the selves. They dont move alot of stock. My sears department store is all Chinese sets but still has open stock in USA

I have 2 sets of USA Craftsman deep and refuse to get rid of tne extra

Wonder if that was why my Sears had all their impact sockets stuffed in a cart in the back last time I went in. Haven't been in a while, since every time I do, it reminds me more and more of Wally World (both in Chinese products, and stupid people).

I wonder when my USA Craftsman stuff will be collectible enough to sell it and buy SO or Matco with the proceeds.

I have some 10 or so year old Craftsman impacts that get used daily, Ive been very happy with them. couple of guys at work use HF impacts, and they really like them.

Take a look at the duralast set from autozone. $ 25 for the set and no skipped sizes. Also has a lifetime warranty. I prefer them because the size is actually stamped on the socket and won't wear off over time.

Sears really made some **** in the 80's, had an issue witha fair amount of chromes, do not recall a case with the impacts and they really got beat hard.
