I've been looking to get a 3/8 air ratchet. I have found a couple impacting air ratchets which I believe will fit my type of work well.

Any recommendations of what brand and models are worth the money. Thanks

The HF earthquake and HD husky are prob the most popular budget choices that still get good reviews on here.. I think they are in the 70 - 80 ftlbs range.. The husky is like $50 all over eBay I think

We used a bunch of the Husky at my last job and they would break/just free spin all the time - so we'd take them to Home Depot and get a new one via the warranty. Did it maybe 8+ times. Then they stopped taking them back saying they've "changed."

Not sure if that's still the case or what. Or what you would do if you bought it off Ebay.

IR made one of those in the late eighties or early nineties, I bought one and it was great for a while, then that ******* would automatically reverse itself while using it. Removing bolt installing bolt removing bolt installing bolt. Tried to give it to my tool truck guy and he said IR did away with them for that reason.

I have the earthquake impacting ratchet From HF. works very well.

Same here. Bought it a few months ago and have used a couple of times so far. It works well and it's nice not to worry about busted knuckles. I bought the extended warranty. With the warranty (and a 20% off coupon) it was still cheaper than the Husky at HD. But the Huskys' on Ebay that have been mentioned are the least expensive - I would just wonder about the warranty.
