I dont see much on this forum covering this particular company and wondered about their quality and if they are American made. It appears they are out of Ohio and I do see some of their tools (snap ring pliers mainly) on this forum with pics of USA made.

Sears is selling their pocket ratchet nearly 40% off and I have been looking for one of these for a while but craftsman never puts them on sale (not for over 2 years).

Whats your thoughts on Imperial Brand Tools and in particular this pocket ratchet?

I followed your link & I see that the Imperial logo is on the page and it says "Imperial" on the tool, but I'd bet heavily that it is some kind of mistake!

Imperial tools are very high quality, but there is no way they made that thing and I doubt they even re-brand it. Imperial makes HVAC/plumbing tools and I've never known them to be connected to that type of gimmicky item... :wtf:

Imperial makes tools under their own brand name as well as tools for other brands too.

Mainly HVAC and plumbing, but also certain applications for automotive as well. They aren't that big, but I do have a few of their plumbing tools and they are pretty good tools.
