In Floor lift

Any pros & cons on a center post lift that is in the floor? Diagrams, installation pics ANYTHING!!! Help

The primary disadvantages is cost. The lift itself is about double and installation is more challenging especially in existing construction.

On the plus side, there are no posts to contend with when the lift is down.

i have used both. it's harder to do exhaust work wit a single as the arms can get in the way. i've read that if something goes wrong with it also you got to break out the jackhammer.
plus it doesn't take up any space above ground.

I would give my right eye to have one of these. Had them at a VW dealership in CT, I worked next door at the Audi shop on a single post, and had to borrow a lift to drop transmissions.

I have a Rotary older single post and use it a lot for LOF's and brake/front end and rear axle work. When not in use it's completely out of the way.
