In Grandpa's toolbox..Blue Point BL40?

These were in Grandpa's toolbox. What are they for?

They are Hydraulic brake clamps, holds the brake cylinder in closed position to prevent bleeding when shoes are removed.. Probably from the early 40s

Yeah I've seen some oddball tools that I had to ask "whats that for?" and it seems like 75% of the time its some weird brake application.

OK, here is another one I'm not sure what is. Picture doesn't show it well but the piece on the left end pivots and has little hooks to grab onto something. It's about 5 inches total length.

And these must be a little unusual, I did some searching and didn't find any by Samson. I've thought it interesting that there were so many copies of Vise Grips, but not very many worked as good as a genuine Vise Grip.

clark feather was a valve tool mfr, i don't know the specific application.


EDIT:it looks like it's a windshield wiper arm remover.....
