Hello,
I am removing an old in ground floor hoist tomorrow. Last weekend I took the arms off and pulled the carriage. 8 bolts to the top flange of the ram. The ram is 10" across and around 9'6" deep. Its all nice and shiny on the inside. There is a access pipe next to the main cylinder shaft with what appears to be a eyehook on the end of a long rod. Im assuming its part of a release mechanism . Can anyone help?
Thx
