In search of a specific test light

If this still exists, this is the group to tell me where to get one!

Probably close to 20 years ago, my dad had (until I borrowed) a test light that was the greatest thing since sliced bread. It was black plastic bodied with LED lights on a "scale" on the side to read 6,12 or 24 volts. The tip was a wide blade similar to one side of a fuse, or a male spade connector. The best part- was the hook just behind that blade that you could grab a wire and then using your thumb, slide a switch type lever and drive a piercing probe into the wire. It was so handy and made it safe and easy to check something way down in a tight spot or up under the dash... One handed! Never a poked finger...

I had it for years, and can't remember if it was lost or damaged, but it's no longer around. I've googled extensively a few times and come up with nothing.

Any chance somebody has seen one and knows where to get one?

Thanks

You mean one of these. I don't know where to buy one, it is not sold by Snap-On anymore. I have had mine for years and used to use it a lot, in just the way you describe. It is a Blue Point and has no number on it. Must be 25-30 years old but still works well. Maybe the picture will help.

I have one, it's marked Waekon, but I'm pretty sure it was originally in a Mac Tools plastic tube. Now it lives in the camcorder case with my Fluke meter.

Thanks guys! It was the same as that Gunson that TommyK's ebay link has. Odd that I now can't find one on this side of the pond, it's marketed as "new" and yet I had one 20 years ago in this country??? Now to decide if it's worth ordering from the UK...

Thanks!!
