Hi all
I am about to buy the panels to line the inside of my garage what would you all recommend
OSB3 panels or ply wood
If OSB will it paint ok to look good

Plywood would look better, but OSB is cheaper and just as good/strong as plywood.

After you paint it, you'll still be able to tell its OSB, the paint won't hide the "chip" texture of OSB, but it will still look good and be very strong and durable.

I have said this before, I will say it again. If you take drywall compound and smear it on the OSB in a light coat, then prime and paint it, it will look just like drywall. However, since it is OSB you can hang stuff on it without an issue.

In Briton its £16 +VAT for 12mm plywood
and £12 for OSB
