You should be able to buy it wherever you can buy the EpoxySheild floor coating. I was able to get mine at Menard's in Indiana but I think Home Depot and Lowes sell it too - may have to special order it. Call Rust Oleum tech support. They may have a list of distributors in your area.

It's also available through Amazon I want to say that I bought a much smaller package for about a third of that price though.

good news. my local Dunn-Edwards paint store had it in stock.
i patched yesterday, etched today.

However, the patched areas are not roughing up like the rest of the cement. they're still fairly smooth. what did everybody else experience when etching patched areas?

IIRC, Rust Oleum's instructions say to do it in the reverse order that you did it (Etch then patch). When I did my garage, I did my acid etch on a sunday afternoon and let it dry until friday night before using the patch. I let it dry for about 10 or 12 hours before using 60 grit sand paper on a random orbit sander. The sander knocked down the high spots and gave it a little texture. If you do this, make sure that you vacuum the residue to keep it from hindering the bond between the slab and the epoxy.

What boiler said. I patched mine right before I coated the floor with Armorseal. I didn't rough up the patched areas - just coated over them.

that's strange. i called the help line and the tech told me to patch first, then etch. i'll try to sand it down a bit. good idea!
