Hello,
I've lived in rural Minnesota for the past 10 or so years, and had a large garage workshop for hot rods and motorcycles (welding, wrenching, etc.), along with a basement woodworking shop for furniture, and guitar building.
We moved to Addison, TX (Dallas suburb) last year, and have been apartment dwellers. We finally sold our house in MN, and are ready to start looking here in the Dallas area.
My problem is, three or four car garages aren't very plentiful in town, at least in our price range. Basements are non-existent. What other options do I have for adding a workshop to a two-car garage house? My wife doesn't like outbuildings, so it would either have to be beautiful, or have to be an addition. (can you even add an addition to a brick house??) Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
