Inch pound Torque Wrench

I would like to know who makes a good inch pound torque wrench.I am going to be getting into chainsaw restorations.Is a dial type face the best way to go? I don't want to have to pay a kings ransom, but if it it's about accuracy well then maybe I have to.

I have matco and snap on t/w's now but I also have used harbor freight's with no issue's before.

Dial is the best but can be expensive. If you want the most accurate for the least amount of money by a KD 1/4 drive beam style. I've put an adapter on one to go 3/8 drive and compared it to my old dial Snap-On. I bought it to set the bearing preload in a few diffs while my Snap-On was at Calibration Specialties. Very accurate and acually use it more than the dial. I think it was 20-25 dollars. Skip the cheap click types.

EVERY fastener has a torque specification....

Thanks for filling the members in on that point.I do know a very,very knowledgeable chainsaw guru who can tighten fastners up without a torque wrench,but when I start getting into it that won't be me, as I'm going to be a newbie.

Proto torque wrenches are very repeatable. Tons on eBay for a song!
