Including pics in posts....

Im old and only part of my brain works. My wife is going to school full time and working so I cant bug her with this stuff.

Can someone give me a photo hosting site that in their experience works well with GJ? I'd like to post a bunch of my projects, ideas, and stuff but cant because the threads would be worthless without pictures.

Also if there was a sticky or something giving directions or hell, even a reference for me to a website that explains how to do it. I keep screwing it up and end up wanting to toss my computer into the WoodChuck chipper.

Thanks for any help, yes Im a retread, hate exposing my lack of intelect but I've run out of options........

Set up an Album here on the GJ.

At the top of the page is a black button; "User CP", click it.
On the left side of the page look for a grey heading "Network", scroll down to "picture and albums" and click it.
Look for "Add Album" and click it.
Input a title and description, then click "submit".
Click on "Click here to upload pictures!"
Now click "browse".
A box will open called "file upload". find where you keep your pictures. I keep mine in the pictures album. Scroll thru your pics until you find the one you want, click on it and hit "open".
If the pic doesn't load into GJ then it's probably too large. I will copy the pic and paste it back into the same album it came from. It will now say copy in the title under the pic. Richt click on the pic and click on "edit". You want to keep the pic down to about 800 pixels wide and if I choose 20% it usually works for me. Keep trying until you find a % that works for you.

It's much easier if you have two instances of GJ open. I usually right click on "User CP" and pick from the drop down menu "open in a new tab"

You will now have an Album on GJ with the pics you uploaded. Click on your album title and a page will open with the pics you have. Click on the pic you want to insert into your thread. Scroll down to the "BB Code" and click on it, then right click and pick "copy" from the drop down menu. Then go over to your thread and "paste" it in. It will show up when you "save" the new thread.

Even better. Download Tapatalk app. Sign in like you do on your computer. Looks a little different but well worth learning it. You can include pics from your phone or better yet you can take them and insert while typing your post. Way easier then uploading to a hosting site.
See my screenshot there is an icon for a camera and a picture which goes right to your iPhone or iPad pictures.

Yes, it is allowed. However, Imgur won't allow hosting to GJ since we have a classified section. Their problem not ours.
