Hi all,
I just picked up this Silver Eagle air sander at a garage sale but it's missing the arbor and sanding disc piece. The seller says its a push it type of arbor and it's released through the hole in the side (pic). I think its threaded in but don't know what the hole in the side is really for.

So, what can the wisdom of GJ guys and gals tell me about this sander and is there any way I can obtain the missing piece(s)?

Got it for $1, btw :bounce:

Thanks!

I am going to go out on a limb so to speak and say that if you call matco and check they might have a parts kit. Then again I could be 100% wrong and some chinese company is calling their air tool the siver eagle and it not a matco product... But I still think calling Matco is the way to go.

Its a matco. See if you can find the model number on their website if its not on the tool. Then you should be able to order parts, or at least see if the have them. Pretty sure that its a screw on adapter.

All's well! Wrote to Matco via their website, they responded within a day with the name and number of the territory rep, who I called, and he gave me the name and number of the local rep. Gave local rep a call and met him a few days later. Got the missing piece. Too easy! This is the way customer service should be! Thanks all!
