Okay, bought this today for $6, First off i think the color is odd on the sockets, a dead gray, almost pewter like. Secondly any HERBRAND expert out there can help me out dating these? What kind of value are they and what year might they have been made? I like them. Thoughts?

Cadmium finish used from 1942-1945 during the war they need raw materials and Cadmium was used; Be carful not to clean those sockets the dust is not healthy and can pose risks for you.
