Howdy yall, this is my first post. I wanted to share this clean 15 inch Indestro Super adjustable I found on the ranch in the most unusual fashion. It was bale wired up in the engine bay of our old John Deere 484 cotton stripper between the sheetmetal and the radiator. It has hardly a lick of rust on it and it appears to be industrial finished. Marked model 3580 and has my last name engraved on it near the jaw, pretty neat I think. Probably put there by grandpa. Any idea on year of manufacture or even how much it would go for. I aint selling it just have never seen another one.

Thanks man. Naw he passed but he was known to hoard tools in obsecure places. One time i found a JP danielson pipe wrench tied to a fence post! An internet search for the Indestro Super 3580 brings up nothing, kind of odd huh?

Well, I don't know man. I doubt the net would have info on EVERY tool Indestro made.
Does seem like you'd at least have a close match or something though.
I betcha some of the guys on here have some old Indestro catalogs that would have a matching picture. Must've been cool seeing your last name on it. Sure wish I had ANY tool from my Grandfathers. That'll be a something to pass on to your Son someday.

I think Indestro used the Indestro super brand name from around the 40s to the 80s when the company switched to a different name. Also Indestro super was the higer end of Indestros tool line. Nice find on the wrench i bet its a super nice piece.

There are several members who are into the indestro line, hopefully they will offer some info, but in the meantime here is a link to some info:

My grandfather used to do the same thing on the ranch in Eastern Colorado--he never liked being quizzed by the grandkids but told me one time that you had to be prepared to fix stuff that broke down.
