Just picked up this indestro super 953 hammer for $30 on the ebay. Discription specifically mentioned solid handle with a firmly attached head.. which isn't quite the case. Hoping I can fix it with a wedge. Already 2 steel and a wooden wedge in it.

I cannot find any info on indestro body tools. What other body stuff did they make? Is it good stuff? Most of my body tools are martin, except for a vintage craftsman coma dolly. Anyone have info on this stuff?

I have been on the lookout for one of those things forever it seems. Around here most body men refer to those as a mule di$k, just look at it lol. While I've found them, they seem to elude me for a decent price. You my friend got it ha ha. As for your head put in an extra wedge you'll be fine.

I've used this trick......spread some superglue on top of the handle (the wood will wick up the glue) and then drive in your extra wedge (watch for the splatter from the superglue). Superglue will help to hold together any wood that seems to be loose and will act as a repellent to any further rot in the handle.

HJE in Kansas City has them from Martin "up stairs".
