The supers were the top of the line. The also had Indestro select at one time which seems to be somewhere in the middle of the two. I think they dropped the supers and selects sometime in the late 60's/70's.
From ads I've seen, their line seemed to be more focused on producing less expensive tools in the 70's and onward.
They went out of business sometime in the early 90's.

At the flea market I'm always looking for Indestro Super but pass on the regualr Indestro and Select. They seem to be made a lot cheaper.

how does that apply to the question? i think most people know and understand that those are vintage out of production tools. typical bashing of anything not snap-on. usually don't see it from the truck drivers though. oh wait, yes i have seen it from you before. sad and disappointing that people get mocked for collecting and asking about a classic old american tool brand.

i probably did. i know you sell the s-o and love them, i own some and like them also. but, you did not say that you are looking for some. infact i may have some that you need and know of someone who has quite a few. pm me with your needs. i love to trade or will pass you on to someone else who can help. i am trying to put a couple old sets together myself. i think anyone here would love to see you complete a family heirloom. especially with pics.

the only ones he had were broken. so I may just leave them there if the company is gone...
I did find an old pair of williams adj joint pliers in there.
I am soaking it all in evapo rust to clean the bad stuff to see what brands are there

I picked up and am now selling two of the "regular" Indestros. I've handled a lot of ratchets, and these two do not feel cheap. Nice heft, nice action for their coarse gears, not sloppy etc.

Alot of info here,sometimes I forget about this site.

I found some wrenches there stamped ( Indestro Super - Quality ). According to the site they were produced before the ( Indestro Super ).

( Indestro Polygon ) was also stamped on some of their box wrenches.
