A few months ago I posted a way to use a piece of rubber tubing to hold an allen key on a power tool cord, like the way some drill chuck keys are attached to the cord. I just came up with another little trick that I thought I would pass along. I was tuning the carb on my chain saw and they often say to make 1/4 turn changes when looking for the correct setting. I quickly found I would lose track of where I was. I tried marked tape on the handle but it was kind of sloppy. Then I came up with this. I punched out a piece of inner tube and put 1/4 turn divisions on it. The center hole stretches over the nut driver head and fits snug on the shaft. This tool is part of a set so I can move it from tool to tool.It only took a few minutes to do.

Didn't know it was available but it only took a couple of minutes to make and cost me nothing. Besides, I made the center hole to be a snug fit on my tools that have very slim shafts. That one might be too loose. If a member has a punch set, an old inner tube and a marker he can knock one out in 5 minutes. I probably would have still made it to save six bucks plus shipping and having to wait a week for delivery
