Inductive ammeter

Does anyone still make an old school, "clip" over the cable 12v ammeter? Some idiot who shall remain nameless (me) was chasing down a starting problem on the old C10 and took a test drive this morning. By the time I found my old Suntune laying in the road, there wasn't much left.

I've got a digital, but I don't really like having to grow a third arm to hold the damn thing where I can see it. I've been burned on Ebay to the point I won't even try there, and my google patience is about gone.

Any ideas here?

similar unit was made by C.E. Niehoff - part number T-52 - but there aren't any listed right now.

I'm sure they were made by other companies as well.

I have had no big issues with ebay.

That would be the little gadget I seek - but not converted into fridge decor.

I try to avoid Ebay these days after the last item I won (and paid for) in October still hasn't arrived, but I've gotten a new excuse as to it's whereabouts every couple of days religiously. As of the last report, I believe that my shift knob may be orbiting Pluto.

you could get clamp on uei makes some that have worked quite well for me.

Uni-T 210E. Make sure it's the E version. Uni-T is bad about having a bunch of meters with the same name but for there letter. There differences are often quite significant. It also does DC mA.

Thanks all - I found the KD "Gearwrench" rebranded version at the local Parts Plus.
