I was wondering if some of the industrial mechanics on the forum could show some pics of their toolbox setups. I'm looking for ideas to customize my tool box for greater efficiency. I know every environment is different in regards to what is needed but any ideas would help. Unfortunately we can't have cameras in the plant so I can't show my setup here so I will try to explain it. We all have Craftsman 40" tool boxes on a 1.5" angle frame with 5" casters issued by the company. I have a 6" vice mounted to the left front (facing the draws), 3' step ladder ladder hanging off the left end, extension cords and broom/dust pan hanging off the back with jack chain, a cardboard box sits on the back right corner to hold rags, the right lower side there is a transformer bolted to it that steps 240v down to 120v.

Here's mine, a Kennedy Versa-Cart with a vise top/drawer liners made from conveyor belt (right side).
Since I've been retired, It is a handy place to hold my tools and set my cold beer on. :D

My new box is coming on Friday so I'll try to get a few pics once I've got it all set up and loaded.

Sorry I'm late posting back, I was up until 1AM last night trying to find a driver for my computers touch pad that will work with windows 10. I guess I was looking for pics of how other people have gone about setting up there boxes just to get some ideas. I took some measurements today and I think I'm going to build a wooden top using 1/2" MDF with a box for the rags in the right rear, a rack of sorts for two boxes of gloves to slide into to the left of the rag box. I was also thinking about a rectangular box along the remainder of the back to hold spray cans. I guess what I'm trying to do is load this box with as much stuff as I can. I work in a 250K SF facility so it can be a long walk back for that piece of equipment or chemical you need and don't have on you.
