When theWORLDSaNAIL started that "Any one use industro tools" thread a few days ago, I first thought he was confusing Industro with Indestro, and then when his Sears link didn't work I thought he was drunk!

It seems that the company is HQed in Salt Lake City and the tools are (or at least once were) intended to be distributed via mobile dealers.

Maybe that didn't work out as the tools can be obtained through at least one other retailer besides Sears.

It seems the tools were reviewed by a Jeep magazine in 2008, and a follow-up was also published later that year:

The company's website - www.industrotools.com - doesn't work, and I don't see how that can be a good sign...

A sales rep from HB was very enthusiastic about these new products, saying how with one set you could drive every fastener -- 6, 8, 12 point, spline, hex, torx, standard, metric, etc. He said some big Harley repair shop was buying these exclusively now. I thought that sounded a bit suspect...first, I can't imagine that something so multi-purpose would work really well on any one thing, and second, from what I've inferred from reading here, Harleys are exclusively standard hardware (and it seems there can't be THAT many sizes...I mean, how big is a bike? :))

Can you say "metrinch"??

And, that set that the OP referenced is $200, no deal in my book for an unproven product from a no-name company.

my 0.02 anyway.............

IMHO......these are just more global produced "tools".

Wright tools are 100% USA made......what is the CoO of this brand?

The phone # ,lets you speak with a old lady that has NO CLUE about Industro tools!ie:wrong number!

They might be some of the 10,000,000 tools that Toptul makes each year.

I'm covered well on sockets but am aware some female torx plus are out their that I'm not covered for at this time but for the price it would be channel locks, hammer and chisel or one of my damaged nut removers. I was looking at Mac's new spherical drive sockets also.
I thought Wright came out with a new drive.
