Disposable is right!

At that price, I bet if you bought a bunch and sold them on eBay you'd make a killing!

Funny... Metric crowsfeet must be denser. They cost $4 extra to ship. But I've never noticed the difference in weight. ;)

ok, so I have to admit a fact here. I don't know when I'd use this type of wrench. Can someone explain? I understand that the wrench head fits onto a socket handle, extension etc. Is it for torquing (with a torque wrench) as an example when you can't use a socket??

Please correct my ignorance.

Online price shows $13 for SAE and $15 for metric. There are two extra metric sizes. That must be what requires an extra $4 shipping fee (rolls eyes).

They are for tight quarter places... confined spaces. I've used them tightening anchor bolts on a new conveyor line. There were two adjacent conveyor lines and the two channel type legs were 4 inches from each other... you couldn't even get a wrench in between the channels and turn it...even a stubby. You could only get about two clicks on a rachet. Ended up using a breaker bar, long extension and a 3/4" crowsfoot. Then after doing 52 of them had a long heated conversation with the installer of the line. The next time we were given time to tighten all the base bolts before they set the next section of conveyor beside this one.

why can't people just work together ! :shocking:

I use them for trans lines most of the time, and general hard line use other times when in tight quaters
