Yeah, you're not the only one I confuse

The 2nd Amendment clearly prohibits the government from sticking its hand into people owning guns. Therefore, gun control laws are clearly unconstitutional. However, equally clearly, there are some people who just can't be allowed to have guns (for example, the clinically insane). So, the only logical conclusion to this is to repeal the 2nd Amendment so that gun control laws that can do things like keep an insane person from legally buying guns can be enacted.

I think I've repeatedly made it clear that these aren't my opinions, they're just things I'm repeating from people who claim to do this for a living. I think it's great that people are making their own and will be able to print their own. I personally think the Constitution is pretty clear on that being an ok thing to do and I'm a BIG believer in exercising Constitutional rights in order to ensure their preservation. Your sources arent solid. You need clear documented websites that are credible. University Research Papers, Trade Organizations, and government websites are full accredited to make accurate statements.

And you think repealing the only thing keeping gun ownership in the US legal - a Constitutional right - is going to somehow reduce the amount of gun laws in the US to affecting only those who "shouldn't" have guns?

That is a can of worms I do not even want to get near on this site...
