Inexpensive heater

I'm looking for an inexpensive heater that I can turn on to have quick heat while I'm out in the garage.. any suggestions? the garage is relatively small maybe 24x24 with 11ft ceilings. theirs also no insulation and its pretty drafty. I'm not looking to keep the place 70 degrees, just enough to keep from freezing while standing at my workbench.

I have a couple of Dearborn heaters and it heats my 36X50 pretty good. My brother has a propane torpedo heater that will get you sweating in no time. Nat. gas or propane is pretty odorless in confined spaces and much cheaper than electric.

is it safe to use a propane heater indoors? does it need some sort of exhaust?

It should be safe to use them indoors, many of them have automatic low oxygen safety shutoff switches

the one i gave you a link for can be used in a garage...the reason is most garages are not as tight as your house. though it does need O2 and a change of air every once and a while.

if you have a window crack it open or crack open your garage door. now if your garage is very well insulated and air tight you will have to do that.

caution and common sense must be used....if you have and use those you will be fine.
