- 3 NIB RG VantageII infared tube heaters 120k BTU. i bought six of these @ $600.00 ea and put three up initially.
Three is enough to run us out of our 65x85x16 shop in about 20Min. $450.00 each

Anyone got any input on this ad for heaters
Good price?
Good heaters?
Are the tubes really just 4" exhaust pipes?
Or anything else you can tell me about these heaters?

I think it's worded kinda funny. Tubes and shields are not included? What are you selling?

Can't figure out if you're buying or selling - if selling, there is a classified section for that. Other than that, never heard of that brand. And sounds like a bit of a pain if the tubes and shields are not included...

I have a spaceray infrared u-tube heater and I thought the tube had a special coating on it. At least that is why I bought my particular unit. It works well and appears that the tube has some kind of coating. Not sure if it helps with the heat transfer or it just protects the tube. Sounds fishy to me to have to make your own tubes.

I thinking about buying the three he has that are new in the box. I did find the web site for the manufacture. They are made by Roberts Gordon. The tubes and shields are really no problem, as all parts are still available. Price for the same unit today is 1025.00 that is just for the head unit. Tube and reflector kit for a 40 foot unit is like 850.00. complete unit head and tube kit runs 1765.00. So it could be a pretty good deal. I think I will make a offer on all three units.

Sorry If my first post was confusing. :headscrat
