I recently picked up a GREENLEE 1/2" ratchet model no. 5018834 -I never heard of the brand prior. I was able to find various GREENLEE tools on eBay and Google (mainly screwdrivers) but no ratchets. Appears to be a quality wrench...Any info on this new found baby would be appreciated..Thanks

Sorry, I can't figure out for the life of me how to post images on with my message....The previous owner was in his late seventies so I believe the wrench had some age to it...If it is older does that mean it's a Snap On???

Sorry but pictures help all of us figure out the maker, pictures of every shot possible from the handle to the ratchet head, front and back and every letters and numbers.

Wish I could help you out, maybe someone good with computers can help you out step by step.

I have that same ratchet. I'm sure it was made by snap on. I had to glue the rubber end on to make it useful. Mine is also equipped with a pin retainer for the sockets rather than the spring loaded ball.

Well I don't have any rock solid confirmation that it was made by snap on but it has an identical head to my SL710 snap on. I'm sure a rebuild kit for that ratchet would fit the greenlee. I also have the exact same long handled ratchet branded Caterpillar.

I have a chance for great deal on a set of new Greenlee metric ratcheting wrenches. Made in Taiwan but seem very solid. Does anyone have any experience with them? They seem quite expensive on Ebay and Amazon.
