I ran across a nice looking Hunter 700 Balancer. Does anyone have any information on it... possibly a manual or calibration instructions??? It appears to be missing a few cones, are they still available? I measured the threaded shaft and its around 40 mm.

Thanks for any help!

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow... I spoke to my local Hunter rep, seems to be a really nice guy. Said he has worked on them in the past (although its been a while). He also said it was a very dependable machine, not many problems with them, very simple to work on. Some parts still available and some it would take some searching for. I'll do a little test and evaluation this weekend and see how it runs out. More to come.... hopefully!

I got a PDF manual from someone on hotrodders.com. A search there could probably get you one. I may still have it at home if that doesn't work

We had one like that at the Chevy dealership 30 years ago. That's how I ended up with a Rotunda (made by Bear) tire balancer that came from the Ford side when they combined shops. Had it a few years and sold it to a guy doing tires.

We had one of those at a shop I worked at. Was a pretty nice unit. I liked it for bigger van and truck tires because of the orientation. I could have sworn ours was an FMB, but I guess it must have been a hunter. Only one I ever saw around here like that. Nice score!
