Info on these grinders

I found these on cl and was wondering if anybody has heard of the brand lima and put a name to the grinder with the buffer wheels asking price is $150 for both

I've never heard of them but they appear to be decent quality.
IMO the price isn't far off.
I'd probably jump on them.

I know I would. I'd seriously consider $150 for the two stands alone but with the grinders also I would've bought them already.

my first concern would be whether or not motors are 1ph or 3ph.

I do like the base on that larger one. Appears to be cast iron.

The top grinder appears to be a U.S. Electrical Tool Model 500. A top-line machine. Unfortunately it's missing it's cast-iron guards, which weigh about 100 lbs.

The bottom grinder is a Lima, made by Lima Electric in Lima, OH. As far as quality, like most true industrial grinders it makes a Baldor seem like a cheap toy.

It is most likely 3-phase.
