Hey guys,
I have this Craftsman ratchet and just noticed there is no COO on it?
Funny thing is, is on my V, -V-,and =V= series ratchets they all have USA on them and I believe they are older then this one? Anyway it's a full polished, round head, thumb wheel, Try-wing. Here is a pic.

Rumor has it that Stanley got itself into a mess by making these ratchets in Taiwan / not marking COO at all. Some Canadian markets have ones that are marked, but very rarely do we see them.

All in all, they are decent ratchets, and seems like the chrome holds up well. I think the main problem is the selector gear gives people trouble.

Stanley-made in Taiwan, from what the other posters have said. They're so-so ratchets, but the biggest drawback to those right now is there are no rebuild kits available.

you just get kits from Blackhawk for these ratchets if you want to fix them.

I own one of these ratchets, it is a lower tier Craftsman tool. Mine has worked decent enough , although I seldom use it.

Thanks for the info guys. I do prefer the feel of the handle over my RP but I usually grab my v selector RP because I like that selector better then the tri-wing.
