Just bought this 80 gallon 5HP vertical air compressor from a friend in need - Looking for some information and possibly a manual on it. I have searched google to no avail. The ID tag is badly worn but I made out a model # of C521E80V. I am not sure if the motor is OE to the compressor or not. but anyway,

here are some pics:

Yep, Chinese knockoff of the Saylor Beall 705 pump. The Saylor Beall site had a good manual, many of the parts are the same.

I have no experience with the Saylor or the knock-off. I read somewhere that the differnce is metric vs. inch, so some parts may not be interchangeable?

Ray, I just picked up a 7.5 hp Industrial Air Machine for a steal of a price. It was brand new, but would not run. The store pulled all sorts of control wires apart in the motor control box, and I suspect even in the motor splice box on the side of the motor. I would appreciate pictures of your control box and motor splice box innards. Or a copy of the wiring diagram if you have one. Or a hand drawn diagram with wire colors would do. I’m sort of desperate. Any help would be so appreciated.

These are very good compressors. The quarter car wash I go to has one and it's been running for years without issues.
