I bought a bendpak bp-12alx 4 post alignment rack last year from a shop that closed down and i need any information you have on this lift (dimensions, installation guide, specs, etc.) I am looking for the installation manual, so i can try to take on this task instead of paying a professional $600 to install it. This rack was build in 1997 and uses a chain instead of cables. does anyone know the pro and cons about chain drive lifts?
A little background information about my self...
I am a DIY'er and I would rather try to install it myself and save money instead of paying someone to do it. I am mechanically inclined and have all the tools, manpower, and forklift available for this project. I helped my friend install his 2-post lift and it was easier than i expected. So if anyone is willing to help or give advice, my ears are open. Thank you all for your time
