Mittler Brothers now owns the rights to the Beverly Shears and supports all versions. Blades are not cheap, but they can be sharpened and with a little care, a Beverly will last multiple generations in even a production shop.
-Have used similar models, found them to be a great addition to any shop. Be careful not to discolor the cutting edges when sharpeni9ng or you'll ruin the temper. Post how you'll sharpen this if you want advice. Wish I had one, hope you enjoy yours.
Bad news. I thought that I was getting it but now owner of scrap yard wants me to restore it and he will be putting it in his shop! I guess that's fine as we are friends and I have gotten my fair share of things that are scrapped. Thanks for the replies which will help me in resto
Finished resto on Beverly B-1 hand shear for a friend. New knives and handle and paint. Can still get all parts for these. Made between 1932-1941 according to Mittler Bros. Who now manufacter them.
