Hi,
I picked up this bottle jack at a school fair in New Zealand the other day, cost me $15 NZD ( about $10 USD ). It appears to be in reasonable condition and works well. I would be interested to know its likely age and provenance.
It's marked as a "Walker 935, Series D, Range from 9 To 19.5, Capacity 8 Tons, Walker MFG CO of WI, Racine WIS, Made In USA"
It has a handle which is flat bar with a twist at the hand end.
It's Olive Drab colour so I wonder if it has military history ?
I will put up some photos when i get them.
