Infrared Radiant Tube modification question

Hey guys I’m currently running a 75k btu Reverberray tube that is only a few years old. It is 20’ and runs the width of my shop and vents out the side. I am putting a 15’ wide lean-to addition on the same side as the exhaust but my ceiling height will be dropping due to the lean to design.

My current unit is about 12’ high. My question is this: Would it be feasible to put a 90* elbow at the end of my tube, run a un-insulated pipe down about 3’, then another 90* elbow over before continuing a 3rd 10’ span of radiant tube before venting out the side of the new addition?

The blower on the furnace portion acts as a power vent which would theoretically keep all the exhaust flowing throw the downward section and this furnace is rated for 30’ worth of tube. I would contact the manufacturer but sounds like they would not suggest something like this even if it will work. I would hate to buy another tube and plumb it in just to have heat in the addition if I can avoid it. I can also draw out a diagram if anyone is having difficulty trying to understand what I am trying to convey.

I have worked with these heaters a lot in the past and I have one in my shop.I think your plan may work but the elevation change may create problems with condensate and the blower may not be strong enough. Also you may not get any heat at all out of the new section...it's a **** shoot.I would try to find another way.

I would not try it! Elbow up I would have no issues, but heat does not like to go down.
